English writing test are replaced by a new constitutional test of English Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar/SPAG test Paper. The Standard and Testing Agency has established the SPAG test paper. Lord Bew’s recommendation on writing composition subject to teacher assessment with more of technical feature of English, assessed through externally marked test.
The standard and testing agency (STA) has framed a set of sample materials for the level 3-5 and level 6 tests. SPAG test Paper materials for level 3-5 and level 6 include sample test papers, scripts for the spelling component and Marking scheme. Sample answer booklet for SPAG test is available in our website.
SPAG Test Papers assesses your grammar, vocabulary and punctuation. SPAG test papers will have different types of questionnaire to check grammar, vocabulary and punctuation. SPAG Test Papers for level 3-5 have two components covered. The first component covers fifteen minutes session of spelling test wherein twenty sentences are read out in class with missing words.
The children have to spell the missing word correctly. There will be a forty five minutes SPAG Test papers that look forward for multiple choice answers and short answers. SPAG test papers for Level 6 have extended task, short answer questions. The extended task is to test the grammar, punctuation and vocabulary which take place for 30 minutes.
The SPAG test papers have spelling test wherein fifteen sentences will be presented to the children which will have a missing word. The test is similar to Level 3-5 test however words that are less familiar are used. In short answers, a tick, circle, line or a short written response will only be required. The total SPAG test papers will be for approximately one hour each.
The SPAG test papers are basically to assess the developing ability of children to spell accurately. The test papers will give the vision on the child’s performance level. |
